In 2014, the BCIC-New Ventres Competition will be awarding a $10,000 City Innovation Award for the top performing venture with a primary market or potential primary market of city departments and/or agencies.
The BCIC-New Ventres Competition is a four-round business venture competition for early stage BC entreprenuers with a tech-focused idea. It features business education seminars, networking, mentoring, and a chance at over $300,000 in cash and prizes.
