The Indigenous Tech Founders Program, by Discovery Foundation, is an 8-week mentorship program designed to help Indigenous Founders launch and grow their tech company. In this program, founders receive dedicated and personalized mentorship by Indigenous Startup founders, and gain access to a community of mentors.

Program Structure

  • Join a cohort of 4-8 founders
  • 8 weeks of 50-min. weekly mentorship sessions
  • 1 follow-up meeting after your initial 8-week sessions
  • Networking opportunities with other Indigenous founders
  • 3-part speaker series

Eligibility

  • BC-based, early-stage tech companies
  • Have at least one founding partner and/or C-level individual from an Indigenous background
  • Commitment to attend weekly meetings over the 8-week program
  • Commitment from a minimum of one executive-level staff member to attend sessions
