The 2013 BCIC-New Ventures Competition has begun with applications now open until April 18 and the Vancouver Province newspaper helped get the ball rolling last week.

The Province’s Paul Luke chatted with BCIC President John Jacobson and competition Program Manager Angie Schick to learn a little more about the annual program which is in its 13th year. This year’s competition offers more than $300,000 to early-stage entrepreneurs who impress judges with their potential to turn ideas into successful outfits.
