New Ventures BC 2009 Finalist Rapid Electric Vehicles has developed REV PACK, an electric drive system for transforming popular, gas-guzzling fleet vehicles into electric zero-emission vehicles. The technology, which includes 120- and 240-volt charging systems, gives North American fleet operators a quick and complete solution for becoming carbon neutral.
The Vancouver-based company also operates Canada’s first electric vehicle showroom on Main street across from the 2010 Olympic Village. They have allocated 2,000 square feet for showroom space with seven bays for vehicle prototyping and development.
