BC’s Capital Raising Index is a new initiative that spotlights BC-based ventures actively fundraising or preparing to engage with investors—helping founders increase visibility while enabling investors to more easily discover high-potential opportunities at Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, and beyond.

With more than 25 years supporting early-stage companies, we consistently hear the same challenge:

Our initiative is a curated and updated public list of BC-based ventures that are actively fundraising. We want to help founders get discovered, and help investors find quality deal flow. The first edition of the Capital Raising Index is now live, and will be updated monthly.

Companies included in the list receive:

Increased visibility among local, national, and global investors
Placement in a central, easy-to-browse directory shared across NVBC channels
Exposure through ongoing promotion across social, newsletters, partners, and ecosystem groups
Investor introduction support

For Startups

BC’s Capital Raising Index is a live, publicly accessible list of BC-based ventures actively raising capital — revised, updated, and published on a monthly basis.

Each edition is shared with investors across our network and promoted through NVBC channels and ecosystem partners to consistently spotlight in-market companies. By participating, your startup gains recurring visibility during your raise, not just a one-time feature.

The next update to BC’s Capital Raising Index will be published in April. Submit your company by March 20 to be included.

Companies included in the Index have self-reported that they are actively fundraising and have key materials prepared (e.g., pitch deck, financials, data room access). While we review submissions for completeness, New Ventures BC does not conduct formal due diligence on listed companies.

Once submitted, our team will review your information and if approved—add your company to next month’s list.
