Driven by blockbuster approvals like Novartis’s targeted radioligand therapies Pluvicto and Lutathera—which together generated nearly $3 billion in 2025 annual sales. Pluvicto was recently approved for use before chemotherapy in PSMA-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, nearly tripling its eligible patient population and signaling a broader shift in how clinicians are sequencing cancer treatment. Operating much like a high-precision printer, TACU runs on interchangeable, pre-sealed cartridges tailored to specific chemical processes. Researchers simply load the cartridge, and TACU automatically executes the process while logging all operational data in real time.
TACU is purpose-built for early-stage discovery—the exact phase when scientists are still refining how a drug should be made. Because the same platform and workflow carry forward as a program advances toward clinical production, research labs skip the months of rebuilding that normally follows once a process is finalized.
TACU has already achieved technical validation at world-leading research institutions. After operating its first unit, one partner site independently requested two additional systems to support an early-phase clinical trial.
