Join us for an insider’s look into the venture capital lifecycle. This seminar dives deep into how VCs raise funds from LPs\, evaluate high-potential startups\, structure investments\, and navigate exits. \nJoin us online via Zoom or in-person at RBCx (Classroom 2 on the 36th Floor – 1055 W Georgia St\, Vancouver). \n​Speakers: \nVallen Li (VP\, Early Stage Banking\, RBCx) is VP at RBCx\, supporting early-stage founders in Vancouver area. With a background in engineering and hands-on product design experience\, he bridges technical innovation from idea to market. Vallen has a passion for entrepreneurship and enjoys working with founders to support their go to market and fundraising. Equipped with an MBA from UBC\, Vallen merges analytical rigour with strategic acumen to aid early-stage founders in securing capital and sharpening investor pitches. \nJason Yen (AVP\, Early Stage Banking\, RBCx) is with the banking team at RBCx\, supporting clients across Greater Vancouver with a focus of Vancouver Island and Interior BC. Previously\, he spent two years as an Associate with the RBCx Life Sciences team\, working with Series A+ life science companies. Prior to joining RBCx\, Jason held roles at Hootsuite and TD where he focused on supporting both enterprise and small business clients.
