The GDDP helps support innovators in the clean tech and digital/ICT sectors, by providing participants with access to City-owned assets for technology demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials. The ‘spirit’ or intent of the program is to accelerate both local job growth and the path to market for exciting new products/solutions, while saving entrepreneurs valuable time and money.
Once technology is successfully implemented, participants will have a supportive reference from the City, a working demonstration site and valuable staff feedback. These outcomes can be leveraged for business development, promotion and product/solution refinement. Assets that may be used for demonstration include: buildings, fleets, water & waste infrastructure, streets, and digital infrastructure.
The program is now accepting applications, and the deadline to apply is July 3rd, 2015. The following intake will be in the fall of 2015. Please review the program’s evaluation criteria and selection process below before submitting your GDDP application form.
