New Ventures BC has taken reasonable measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of all documents you
submit to the competition.
Only the jury members, the NVBC administration, and the mentors assigned (and accepted by you) will have access
to your submission(s) unless you make your work available yourself.
The sponsors, jury and mentors come from organizations that are interested in fostering the entrepreneurial process and
have agreed to honour the intent and framework of the competition. Some of these organizations are in the business of
working with and investing in the ideas of entrepreneurs. As professionals and leaders in their fields, your best protection
is their reputation.
Legally, our policy is outlined below in the 2008 competition "Terms of Use" agreement.
We cannot ensure the privacy of any information that you send us. Without limiting the generality of anything else stated in
the Terms of Use or in the Competition Rules, the BC Venture Society and any Sponsor or Mentor and their respective officers,
directors, employees, consultants, representatives and agents shall not be responsible for any damages that you may incur by
your communication of information and submission of the Work (whether confidential or not) to the BC Venture Society or, if
at your request, we communicate confidential or other information to you.
If you have any questions regarding confidentiality or other matters, please
email us or call (604) 725-5740.
