In 2014, international students spent $78 billion studying abroad at language schools, high-schools, universities and colleges. To recruit these students, schools marketed their programs in an ad-hoc, low-tech way, through education agencies located in the student’s home country. Edvisor is building an online software as a service (SaaS) platform that connects schools directly with the agencies that sell their courses. Their platform allows schools to list their offerings and entry requirements so their agents can access current program information and enroll students directly. Edvisor launched their first product to paying customers in June 2014, and now have more than 600 customers.
