A leader in the high tech industry with over twenty-years experience, Kris Hartvigsen noticed a common trend among salespeople: they dreaded using their CRM platforms. While taking detailed notes themselves, they put the bare minimum into the CRM. This prevented companies from fully understanding their customers and made it difficult for businesses to support sales cycles. Salespeople do not want to stop selling to complete administrative tasks— it’s inefficient, time consuming, and provides little incremental value. In April 2014, Hartvigsen teamed up with co-founder Manuel Zahariev to develop an industry solution called Dooly Noted, a platform that tags meetings notes, automatically updates the right fields within the CRM, and shares relevant material with salespeople to reduce friction and increase their chances of success.
