The GreenTech Exchange (GTEx) is hosting their next forum on Wednesday September 24th.

Recent earthquakes and the growing energy demand highlights the importance of finding solutions for improving power efficiency and resiliency.

In an effort to put microgrid applications into context, the September GTEx Forum will focus on three themes: legacy systems, disaster recovery and remote communities.

During the session, you will hear about the challenges with adapting power infrastructure to legacy systems, the dynamic nature of communication networks to withstand or quickly recover from a disaster and the process of building microgrid projects in various remote locations around the world.

Microgrid for Vital Systems: A Range of Applications takes place on Wednesday, September 24th at Harbour Centre, Simon Fraser University on West Hastings in Vancouver. Registration & Networking starts at 5:00pm and the event commences at 6:00pm.
