Exactly one week before the 2010 Winter Olympics arrive in Vancouver, the folks at VEF Momentum will be hosting their first event of the year. On Friday, February 5th at 5:30pm VEF Momentum: Higher, Faster, Stronger will feature speaker Mark Williams, Co-Founder of Elastic Path Software.

Elastic Path is truly a local success story – they’re responsible for the e-commerce platform that runs the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games website.  Williams will share some great war stories co-founding his start-up in Vancouver and will share what young entrepreneurs can do to reach the podium as successful entrepreneurs.

The event also includes a Q&A session, as well as ample networking time to help aspiring entrepreneurs connect with the people, resources and answers they need to succeed.

VEF Momentum Connect: Higher, Faster, Stronger will take place at Pop Opera Nightclub at 686 West Hastings Street and tickets are $10. Register online quick as Momentum events sell out and hte capacity is only 150.
