Night out at TECUBC’s Young Entrepreneurship Dinner
I just returned from the first ever TECUBC Young Entreprenuership Dinner.
Great event – I always love going to events involving UBC and other universities. Students have so much energy and drive – it definitely keeps NVBC inspired.
The event featured keynote speeches Haig Farris (Fractal Capital Corp.) and Jonathan Bixby (Strangeloop Networks), who each shared some great tips and anecdotes on what it means to be an entreprenuer.
NVBC is a big supporter of university entrepreneurship programs and all students get free admission to the 10-week NVBC Seminar Series, which opens for registration later this week.
